For the Girls Challenge at SAS4Kids

It's time for  new challenge here at Send a Smile 4 Kids and we are challenging you to make and link a card FOR THE GIRLS.  We have chosen this as our theme to bring to your attention that one of the catagories of cards we are most in the need of is cards for teenage girls. We receive lots of cards appropriate for little girls, but not so many for our older patients. Any card appropriate for any girl is OK for this challenge, but please keep our teenage girls in your thoughts when designing cards to send in to SAS4Kids.

We are also thrilled to announce that SAS4Kids is growing again and has just added THREE MORE CHILDREN'S HOSPITALS AND ANOTHER ADDRESS TO MAIL YOUR CARDS INTO! For all the details on our exciting news, please go here.

These prizes are drawn randomly by Mr. Random so everyone has an equal chance at winning, provided you follow the challenge rules and theme. (For the current challenge, please go here.)

We are happy to announce three lucky winners of our sponsor's random drawings and our Top Three today from our last challenge. But first, we would like to ask for your help for a young man and his family. Christian Ford, the 17 year old son of Simply Betty (a designer of digital stamps) was recently diagnosed with throat cancer. He and his family could use your thoughts and prayers and a card to cheer Christian. Please read the blog post here and help in any way you can. My dear friends, Sara and Michael of Paper Creations Ink created the blog badge found on Betty's site that you can grab and post on your blog to alert others to this way we can help a fellow stamper and her family.

Now on to our winners! The winner of the $15 gift certificate from Crop Stop is: #47 Peggy R. The winner of the $10 gift certificate from Glitterbabe is:  #12 Marjo.  And the winner of the $15 gift certificate from
Doodle Pantry is #8 Sylvia Blum. Congrats to these lucky ladies! Please send me an email at khasheck@gmail.com so I can connect you to the sponsors to collect your prizes. And don't forget to grab your winner's blog badge from the side of this blog to display on your blog.

Fall Colors Anything Goes for Kids Challenge

It's time for another fun challenge here at Send a Smile 4 Kids and this time we are challenging you to create a card for a child using fall colors- whatever you interpret fall colors to be is fine as long as it is a card appropriate for a child. It can be a Halloween card if you wish, but please nothing scary and avoid images such as tombstones. Even if you do not send your card to SAS4Kids (and we sure hope you do:), the cards entered in our challenge have to be appropriate for our kids.

We have two generous sponsors for this challenge and look what you can win in our random sponsor drawings: Prairie Fairy is offering a $15 gift certificate and Bee Crafty is offering the winner 3 digital stamps of their choice! You could also be picked as one of our Top Three and win a blog badge and a guest design team spot!

You are going to be amazed at all the talent and inspiration we have for you today! We have two guest design team members today and they both had so much fun with our sponsor's images, they created two cards each! First up is Shelley Dureau. Shelley is the driving force behind Feline Playful, the best challenge list blog in blogland, AND our Canadian partner at Send a Smile 4 Kids (Canada). We just announced our expansion to Canada and our partnership in this blogpost Tuesday. We are so excited to welcome Shelley and all of Canada and to be able to help more children who are inpatient in Children's Hospitals. You can visit Shelley's blog here, and here are the cards Shelley shared with us using our sponsors great images:

Our second guest dt member is Melanie Harding. Mel was picked as a Top Three entrant a few challenges back and agreed to come on as guest dt for this challenge. You can visit her blog here and here are her awesome cards:

TEAM S.A.S had fun, too, with our sponsors images and here are their cards for your inspiration. As always, you can click on their names to go to their blogs for all the details on the cards and to leave some well deserved compliments on their creativity.
